QualySense Raises $2.5 Million to Continue Market Expansion in USA
QualySense AG, a young Swiss company focusing on advanced robotic solutions for seed processing and quality inspection, announces that it has closed a $2.5 Million financing round to intensify marketing and sales effort of its QSorter® portfolio products and the launch of its new sorting services to recover seed waste. The QSorter® is the only technology in the world able to measure the compositional and physical quality of each seed or grain at very high speed and to sort it at speeds from 30 to 3’000 per second.
The round has been led by Ferrum AG, a well-established Swiss company in the field of canning systems and centrifuges for the beverage industry and, also QualySense’s production partner since 2018.
The company will also strengthen its corporate governance by having Ernst Werthmüller, Bernhard Merki and Peter Huber joining the QualySense board. Mr. Werthmüller will be acting as the board’s chairman.
